butter (cut in cubes) | 85g |
sugar | 80g |
milk (warm) | 175 |

scones 司康的做法
1) Heat oven to 220C.
2) add flour, baking powder, salt into large bowl
3) add sugar
4)add diced butter and mix until texture resembles of fine bread crumbs
5)add egg and
6)milk into dry mix
7) mix well and combine all ingredients
8) optional can add raisins or cinnamon powder with Apple.
9 I used 2 spoons to shape the dough and placed it in baking tray
10) glazed with egg yolk to bake in oven at 180C for 10 minutes until golden brown!
小贴士
• Don't melt the butter. The colder from the fridge the better because when it cooks in the oven, it'll make the scones crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.
•warm milk!!
